
Golf Outings
Each year, two very special organizations host golf tournaments to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland.
The Taco Bell Charity Golf Classic will be held July 21, 2008 at the Barrington Country Club in Aurora, Ohio. Founded by Tom Cook, President and CEO of Pacific Bells and Heartland Bells, this event recently celebrated its 10th Anniversary in Cleveland. Thanks to Cook's dedication this event has raised over $200,000 since its inception. Over 120 golfers enjoy a day of golf, fun and great door prizes.
The Wall Street Recycling Golf Classic will be held August 18, 2008 at the Medina Country Club. Founded by two very dedicated volunteers, Bob Murphy and John Joseph, Founders of Wall Street Recycling, this event recently entered its 5th year. Thanks to the dedication of Murphy and Joseph along with other key volunteers such as Mittal Steel and the United Steel Workers Union this event welcomes over 200 golfers for a day of great golf, tons of awesome door prizes and a chance to learn how important the Clubs are.
