Heights Youth Club

One of seven children, Alysia is a caring and giving young lady who is determined to be a success. She is involved in numerous activities including serving in the “Ladies of Distinction” club, mentoring developmentally disabled classmates, taking dance classes, and participating on the Heights Youth Club’s volleyball team. Despite all of this, she is a committed honor roll student, with a 3.5 GPA. She loves her science and math classes and plans to be a pediatrician. She is a great role model around the Club, especially to the younger girls. She strives to teach them to be proper ladies and how to make positive decisions. She encourages those around her to be their best. Living with a single mom who works a mid-shift, Alysia is often called upon to take care of her younger siblings at home. She loves to help out whenever and wherever she can. We know that she will continue to be a successful young lady who we will be proud to call an alumna.
