Alajah E.

Alajah is a fifth grader at Charles Eliot School and a first year member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Cleveland. Her favorite things to do are cheer, draw, dance and always be active. She is also in the chess club and her favorite subject is Reading. For her free time she likes to read and write in her journal. Alajah has stood out as a remarkable visual arts student during the afterschool sculpture class. Her craftsmanship, even with unfamiliar materials, is skilled. Her finished artwork is interesting, exciting, and visually pleasing. But even more than the results and her obvious artistic skills, Alajah tackles the art making and with her ability and willingness to experiment, goes the extra mile, and explores her creativity. She is not afraid of risk taking or strange outcomes.
