We are so grateful to lifestyle retailer DTLR for funding a new $100,000 playground at our Broadway Club in Cleveland. Yesterday we officially opened the playground, which was designed with input from our Club kids. The playground includes new equipment, a rope challenge, rubber mulch padding, benches, and an expanded playground area. Cleveland Browns’ All-Pro Defensive End Myles Garrett welcomed 100 Club kids to @UnitedWayCLE yesterday for the first of a two-day Back-to-School Kickoff event sponsored by the NFL star. Another 100 Club kids will visit today. Yesterday’s festivities included a meet-and-greet with Garrett and Browns mascot Chomps, free haircuts and styles provided by The Gentlemen's Cave Luxury Barber Lounge and kid-friendly entertainment. Each school-age child received a backpack courtesy of presenting sponsor Reebok along with a selection of school supplies provided by the Cleveland Browns and United Way. The Cleveland Cavaliers are also providing lunch boxes and book bags. In addition to Reebok, the two-day event is supported by the following local and national community partners: the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Guardians, The Gentlemen’s Cave Luxury Barber Lounge, Klutch Sports Group, R.A.F.T., R.A.K.E., United Way and Waiākea Hawaiian Volcanic Water.
