April 19 event at Buffalo Wild Wings to benefit BGCC

10% of proceeds at Brooklyn, Warrensville Hts. restaurants go to Clubs

You can help fund sports-based programming for thousands of kids in need by dining at a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant in Brooklyn or Warrensville Heights on Wednesday, April 19.

As part of the Team Up for Kids mission, these restaurants will donate 10 percent of total sales that day to Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland sports programs.  In addition, all restaurant guest donations will go to the Clubs.  The participating restaurants are located at 5020 Tiedeman Road, Brooklyn 44144 and 26200 Harvard Road, Warrensville Heights 44122.

During the evening, Club kids and staffers will be selling raffle tickets for a Cleveland Indians prize basket. The drawing will be held during that night’s telecast of the Tribe’s 8 p.m. game in Minnesota.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland provides safe, fun after-school places and a daily hot meal for kids at 15 locations in Cleveland, East Cleveland and Cleveland Heights.  BGCC served approximately 8,600 youth last year; more than 85 percent of Club members live at or below the poverty line.

Buffalo Wild Wings’ Team Up for Kids mission and partnership with Boys & Girls Club of America supports youth sports through ALL STARS grants for flag or tackle football, basketball, cheer, dance,  step, and soccer teams at Boys & Girls Clubs across the country. In additional to the more than $730,000 raised on Community Day 2016, Buffalo Wild Wings’ partnership enabled over 88,000 youth to participate on teams.

Thanks to Buffalo Wild Wings, the ALL STARS program motivates kids to lead a healthy lifestyle through team sports while building good sportsmanship and self-esteem for Club kids.
