Brook Park firm donates $15,000 to Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland

Brook Park-based Bridgestone Credit Division/Credit First National Association has made a $15,000 donation to sponsor Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland’s June 25 Race for Kids and Wellness Festival at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.

It is the second year in a row that Bridgestone Credit Division has supported the race at the Platinum level.  The race, which includes a 5k run, a 1-mile fun run/walk, free admission to the zoo and a raffle for two round-trip, first-class airline tickets to anywhere in the continental U.S., Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean courtesy of United  Airlines, is BGCC’s largest fundraiser in 2016.

The company recently presented the sponsorship check to Richard Starr, director of BGCC’s King Kennedy Club.  Making the presentation were Randy Davis, HR Manager for Bridgestone Credit Division, and Dean Miller, President of Credit First National Association.

Race entrants are automatically entered in the raffle.  Raffle tickets can also be purchased for $10. The winning ticket will be drawn after the June 25 race.  The winner need not be present. For more information on the race and the raffle, visit www.clevekids.org
